I'm headed to DC!!!

Yup, you read that right! I'm going to the inauguration. Well, I don't really have tickets TO the inauguration, "only" to DC. But I'll be there - shooting photos of the crowds, myself and everything else!

Want to follow my journey? Please head to my other blog:

NOTE: As to why I am posting on Wordpress instead of here... I tried to find an iPhone app that would allow me to upload photos while I added a post and I couldn't find one for Blogger. But I could for Wordpress... What'll happen when it's done? I'm not sure. I'll figure out which one I enjoy more and move all the posts to that one.... So far I'm pretty impressed with Wordpress. Several nice little touches over there.....

Currently not accepting new photoshoots

In an effort to catch up on all I have going on, I've decided to give myself a break from photoshoots for a few months. I've also got a project in the works that I'll reveal shortly!

All photoshoots that are currently booked are still ready to go!

Thanks for your understanding....

My new site design is UP!

Finally! I've been SO insanely busy that I haven't had time to get it up and running until now. And I paid for it many, many months ago. (I'm embarrassed to say how long!)

Anyway, while I still have some tweaking to do and a few pages to redesign, overall I'm really loving the new look. (Thanks, Dean, for the awesome design.)

In the meantime, you'll see that my blog looks different, but still doesn't match my main site yet. You'll hopefully see it be far more seamless in the future. For now, though, I'm testing out Wordpress to see if it will be a better fit for me.

For now, head on over to my main site and let me know what you think! Thanks!

Another gallery showing!

My fourth gallery showing was a BLAST! The music was fabulous, the turnout was awesome and it's always so much fun to see new faces - and old!

Thanks to everyone who was able to make it....

And as a side note, I just added a new gallery on my site for purchasing of fine art images. This gallery will be changing slightly as I implement my new site design so please stay tuned!

Oh! Please swing by the Alpenglow Gallery in Mt Crested Butte to see these and the other stunning images by many other local artists. Definitely worth it! (Email me if you need directions.)

Photos with the Segurs

Poor Stephanie and her family have had to deal with me putting them off time after time because of conflicts and bad weather in Denver. (I don't get there often for shoots.) But after a year, I finally got to meet then and do a shoot for her - and it was a blast! This beautiful family was so much fun - they were hilarious and so much fun and very willing to hike all over the property to find the best locations. And dealt with the cold like troopers! (It was much chillier than we expected!)

At one point, I had to run back to my car for a minute and got back to find them playing hide and seek - Stephanie had lost her husband and kids! (I found them - man, am I good....) They cracked me up.

Here is just a small sampling of the photos I took of them...
